Physiotherapy

Muscle Stimulation Therapy: Interferential stimulation is a type of electrical stimulation that uses paired electrodes of two independent circuits carrying medium-frequency alternating currents. This therapy is used to reduce pain, improve range of motion and promote local healing following various tissue injuries, as well as increase blood flow and oxygen to discs, ligaments and muscles, thereby improving balance, strength and mobility.

Traction Table: Intersegmental Traction Tables gently help reestablish the normal ranges of the body’s spine. They help facilitate muscle relaxation and reduce muscle spasms. The traction table mobilizes the spinal column while simultaneously stretches ligaments and muscles.

Chiropractic Care

Advanced spinal corrections are performed utilizing many different chiropractic techniques. We offer traditional and low force gentle corrections tailored to each individual’s tolerance and their need at that time that is both safe and comfortable. The doctors are certified in over nine different techniques combined.

Massage Therapy

Our massage therapists are trained to work with a wide variety of issues including injuries, prenatal massage, and lymphatic drainage. Therapeutic massage can help release chronic muscular tension and pain, improve circulation, increase joint flexibility, and promote faster healing. Treatment times last from 30-90 minutes, depending on the patient’s needs. Massage therapy will often be incorporated into your chiropractic plan of care.

Low Level Laser Light Therapy

Therapeutic medical lasers heal tissue ailments by injecting billions of photons of visible and invisible laser light deep into tissue structures. Tissues naturally contain protein strands called chromophores and cytochromes located in the mitochondria of a cell, which have the unique ability to absorb laser light energy and transform it into chemical energy for the cell. This chemical energy (ATP) is utilized by the tissue on a cellular level to significantly accelerate the healing process and reduce pain in the body naturally. Cold laser therapy can help with conditions from arthritis, digestive problems, sinus infections, candida, plantar fascitis, and a wide variety of other conditions.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a health science which is used to successfully treat both pain and dysfunction in the body. Early Chinese physicians discovered there is an energy network traversing just below the surface of the skin which communicates from the exterior to the internal organs and structures at over 1,000 “Acupoints” on the body. When this energy becomes blocked or weakened, an effect in a body system or anatomic location becomes evident. Stimulation of one or a combination of key “Acupoints” on the body may restore harmony to the affected area. Acupuncture is performed by Dr. Danny and Dr. Sara at ADIO Chiropractic Clinic.

Foot Levelers Custom Orthotics

Feet are the major weight - bearing part of your body. Each foot contains 26 bones which support and balance the weight of your entire body. Foot pain is common but is not normal; problems with your feet can affect the proper functioning of your knees, hips and lower back. Orthotics are foot-supporting insoles which support or correct foot function, allowing the muscles, tendons and bones of the feet and lower legs to perform at their highest potential.

Foot orthotics can:
• Reduce symptoms associated with plantar fasciitis
• Provide support
• Improve your posture
• Relieve pressure on your feet
• Improve the overall function and health of your feet and legs

At ADIO, our othotics are custom - made for your feet. The doctor will evaluate the arches in your feet as well as evaluating if you pronate or supinate. If you have fallen arches, pronation or other foot conditions which can benefit from the use of orthotics. Unlike off-the-shelf-drug-store insoles, these are custom made by having you the patient stand with your foot in a patient casting kit developed by foot levelers. The inprint of your foot then gives your exact needs and can provide far greater benefits.

Many insurance companies cover the cost of orthotics: our staff will be happy to contact your insurance company to verify your orthotic benefits.
